Mythology Shorts with a story, not a slideshow
Most AI “mythology” channels stitch random images under a generic voice-over: the hero changes face every shot, the plot is vague and every video ends the same way. This workflow was built for our own mythology channel to fix exactly that. It plans each video like a short film — a hook, a fixed cast, one clear story arc, a scene for every sentence and a question that invites comments.
What one run produces
- A ~2-minute 9:16 Short (1080×1920) with 10 narrated beats, each with its own scene and camera shot
- A cast of 1–4 characters whose written look is reused in every image prompt, so the hero stays recognisable
- A title in the form “Epic: intriguing chapter title”, a description with the story context, and tags
- Upload to YouTube with the “altered or synthetic content” flag set automatically; optional Instagram Reel through Blotato
- A log row in Google Sheets and a Telegram report
The library: 14 epics × 10 arcs
Iliad, Odyssey, Epic of Gilgamesh, Mahabharata, Shahnameh, Journey to the West, the Osiris myth, Völsunga saga, Book of Dede Korkut, Tale of the Heike, Epic of Sundiata, Ilya Muromets, Popol Vuh and the Song of Hiawatha. Every epic has its own visual language — Bronze Age bronze and marble, Norse steel-blue and firelit halls, the Mali savanna at golden hour — and you can add your own epics in the same format.
How quality is protected
- Grounded retelling: the Wikipedia article is read with its plot-summary sections first; off-topic pages (a city or film with the same name) are rejected and Tavily is always used to cross-check.
- Consistent characters: the cast is defined once per video and injected into every image prompt.
- Text-picture fit: objects the narrator mentions are checked against each scene and added if missing.
- Validation with retries: word counts, hook length, a real closing question, shot variety, no clichés and no filler “atmosphere” sentences — up to two regenerations before the run stops.
- Publish Guard: nothing is uploaded unless every part rendered; an arc is marked as used only after a successful run.
What is included
- Main workflow (59 nodes) and 5 sub-workflows: voice, scene image, videofy, clip, combine
- Google Sheet template and an English setup guide with credential table, test mode and troubleshooting
- Test mode: render one specific arc without consuming the rotation
