Quick Start: from download to first run
The same six steps apply to every Educattech workflow. Each product page lists exactly which services that workflow needs.
1. Get n8n
Use n8n Cloud (free trial, then a paid plan) or your own self-hosted instance. Long video jobs and high volumes run best self-hosted. We recommend an up-to-date n8n version.
2. Download your files
After payment, open My account → Downloads or the link in your order email, and unzip the package. It contains the workflow files (JSON) and the setup documentation.
3. Import the workflows
In n8n, open Workflows → Import from File. If the package contains sub-workflows, import those first, then open each Execute Workflow node in the main workflow and select the matching sub-workflow.
4. Connect your accounts
Create the credentials listed in the product’s Requirements and select them in the nodes that show a warning. You pay each provider directly for your own usage.
5. Test before you activate
Run the workflow manually once and check each node’s output. Fix any node that shows an error before you continue — most issues at this stage are a missing credential or a sub-workflow that is not selected.
6. Activate
Set the schedule or trigger to fit your process and activate the workflow. Keep an eye on the first few runs.

Step-by-step: common keys
How do I get an OpenAI API key?
- Sign in at platform.openai.com.
- Open API keys and click Create new secret key.
- Copy the key immediately — it is shown only once — and paste it into your n8n OpenAI credential.
Where is my Fal.ai API key?
- Sign in to Fal.ai and open your dashboard.
- Go to Keys and create a new key.
- Paste it into the matching n8n credential or HTTP header as described in the workflow notes.
How do I set up Google Sheets with a service account?
- In console.cloud.google.com, create a project.
- Under APIs & Services → Library, enable the Google Sheets API and the Google Drive API.
- Under Credentials, create a Service Account, then add a key of type JSON and download it.
- Upload the JSON file to your n8n Google credential.
- Share your Google Sheet with the service account’s email address as an Editor — without this step the workflow cannot write to the sheet.
Troubleshooting
- “Credentials not found” or a red node — select your own credential in that node; imported workflows never contain credentials.
- “Workflow does not exist” in an Execute Workflow node — re-select the sub-workflow you imported.
- 429 / rate limit errors — your provider plan has a request limit; wait, upgrade the plan or reduce the schedule frequency.
- Google “permission denied” — share the sheet or folder with the service account email.
